It costs around $20 to ship an airsoft gun with an 8-pound AK via USPS. Simply use your own box and affix a label to theirs. If you're shipping it in its original packaging, make sure to wrap the entire box. Otherwise, you'll end up like me, almost getting the cops called because they think you're attempting to ship a real gun.
If you're trying to get your gun to Royal Mail and don't want to deal with all of this, don't worry; Royal Mail can handle everything. Simply notify Royal Mail, and they will advise you on the next steps.
A standard home or work collection and return delivery costs £36 for a regular box no longer than 100cm.

Here are some examples:
All airsoft guns must have a blaze orange muzzle or an orange flash hider of at least 1/4-inch in diameter. To avoid being mistaken for a firearm, federal law in the United States requires that all airsoft guns be sold with this marking. Airguns (guns that fire pellets or steel BBs) do not have an orange muzzle and are not required to have one by the federal government of the United States or any state, county, or municipal government ordinance. If you remove the orange muzzle or flash hider from your airsoft gun, generally, you will have violated by the shop 30-day return policy and will be unable to return it for a refund.
